Growing Up in Louisville: The Beginning of My Passion

Growing up in Louisville with my two sisters, I was always surrounded by strong family values. My mother's entrepreneurial spirit and my father's hard work ethic were my early inspirations. They taught me not just the value of hard work but also the joy of helping others – a lesson that later became the foundation of my career.

As a young girl, I found joy in styling my friends’ hair. There was something magical about seeing how a simple hairstyle could light up their faces and boost their confidence. This passion for hair only grew stronger over the years, turning into a skill that attracted a large following.

The Path to Professionalism: Education and Experience

I took my passion seriously and enrolled in the Hair Design School in Louisville. After graduation, I worked in a high-end salon and several other salons, gathering experiences and skills that would eventually help me carve out my own path in the hair industry. But I knew something was missing – a deeper understanding of business. So, I went back to college, not just to learn about business but to understand how to run a successful salon that prioritizes clients’ needs.

Twenty Years of Hair Design and My Own Salon

Fast forward, and it’s been over 20 years in the hair design industry, with 12 years running my own salon. These years have been filled with learning, growing, and most importantly, understanding the needs of my clients. From dealing with alopecia to adjusting to new styles, every client has a story, and I am here to listen and provide solutions.

My Spiritual Journey and Personal Life

Twelve years ago, something else changed my life – I was baptized as a Jehovah's Witness. This spiritual journey has been a source of strength and guidance, helping me establish a full-time ministry over seven years ago. I've been married for six years now, and in my personal time, I enjoy fine dining, skating, and meeting new people.
